Fairweather is looking for experienced Paramedics, AEMTs, and EMT-IIIs to join our remote medical team supporting worksites throughout Alaska.

These positions are ideal for medical professionals who are confident working independently, enjoy a changing clinical environment, and want a rotational schedule that provides extended time off between assignments.

The Role

As a remote medic, you’ll be responsible for evaluating and caring for employees at project sites where immediate access to traditional emergency medical services may be limited.

Working in Remote Alaska

Remote medicine is different. Depending on the assignment, you may work independently and may be on call while at the project site. Work can include weekends and holidays during your scheduled rotation, travel by small aircraft, and exposure to Alaska’s changing weather and terrain.

In return, rotational work provides something traditional EMS schedules often cannot: extended, predictable periods away from work.
