Job summary

Baptist Health Hardin is seeking a full-time Paramedic to join the Transport EMS team on the third shift (8p-8a). You will provide advanced life support, administer medications, and coordinate care with physicians and EMS protocols across all age groups.

The role requires KY paramedic licensure, ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications, and a valid KY driver’s license. Other certifications may be required within 90 days of employment; benefits include PTO, tuition assistance, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EMT-Paramedic Licensure by the Kentucky Board of EMS required.
• KY Driver's License valid.
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• PALS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required; may be acquired within 90 days of employment.
• Other certifications as required by Kentucky Board of EMS.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced medical equipment.
• Document patient information accurately.
• Provide clear communication to patients, staff and facilities.
• Deliver advanced life support care per physician or EMS protocols.
