Job summary

Middleton EMS seeks a Paramedic to respond to 911 calls with advanced life support and safe patient transport. You will lead on-scene medical operations, assess patient needs, and determine treatment and destination within medical direction. You may supervise crew roles during MCI events and ensure ambulance readiness.

Requirements include Wisconsin paramedic licensure, current BLS/ACLS/PALS, and a valid driver license. Regular full-time position with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Wisconsin Paramedic license or be eligible for licensure.
• Completion of paramedic training by an accredited school or facility.
• Minimum age 21 years and valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
• Currently certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to 911 emergencies with paramedic services and ALS care.
• Establish and manage MCI operations and lead medical groups on scene.
• Perform patient assessments and determine appropriate treatment and transport.
• Secure and transfer patients to EMS facilities; maintain ambulance readiness.
• Conduct inventory, station duties, infection control, and quality improvement.
