Job summary

Ochsner Health seeks an experienced Paramedic to deliver high‑quality prehospital emergency care across multiple sites. You will assess patients, provide treatments, and support ED staff while following established protocols in diverse, often uncontrolled environments.

Must hold EMT/Paramedic licensure in the state, be National Registry certified, and maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS. A valid Driver’s License and defensive driving training are required.

Qualifications

• Licensure as EMT/Paramedic in state of practice.
• Current NREMT certification as EMT/Paramedic.
• Must maintain BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality prehospital emergency care to patients of all ages.
• Assess patients, administer care, and document findings.
• Coordinate with emergency departments and other staff in dynamic environments.
• Supervise and support other emergency personnel at the scene.
• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and required credentials.
