Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an approved Paramedic Program.
• EMS or hospital experience preferred.
• Paramedic license in the state of practice.

• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS, PALS and CPI to be obtained within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under physician supervision.
• Administer medications by established protocol.
• Draw blood, place splints, perform Foley insertion and IV fluids.
• Document patient tasks accurately and timely.
• Comply with EMTALA regulations and hospital policies.
• Adapt communication to patient population and privacy requirements.
• Support clinical teams and participate in ongoing competency checks.
