Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an approved Paramedic Program.
• Paramedic license in the state of practice; NREMT Paramedic certification.
• Current BLS; ACLS and PALS to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• CPI certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within license scope under physician supervision.
• Perform basic/intermediate/advanced wound care and medications per protocol.
• Document patient-related tasks accurately and timely.
• Adapt care to patient population with respect for privacy and communication.
• Maintain compliance with EMTALA and hospital policies.
