Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a Paramedic to provide Advanced Life Support in pre-hospital settings and to coordinate care with EMS partners and hospital teams.

Responsibilities include rapid assessment, patient transport, and adherence to state guidelines and HMH policies. You will work in varied environments, maintaining equipment and ensuring detailed documentation at all times.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• IS-100/ICS-100 or ICS-100.b or ICS for Healthcare/Hospitals.
• IS-200 or ICS for Single Resources.
• IS-700/NIMS Introduction.
• IS-800.D/NIMS Introduction.
• IS-800.D National Response Framework
• Smart/able to use MS Office/Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Responds to calls in a timely manner.
• Assists and supports public safety and healthcare providers during patient care.
• Performs assessments and identifies patient needs to determine treatment.
• Documents patient data and handoffs per policy.
• Operates EMS equipment and ambulances safely and professionally.
