Qualifikationen

• HS or GED or higher education.
• Must maintain EMT-Paramedic and REMAC certifications; Maintain a current valid DMV driver's license.
• Must be able to read & write in English, and interpret oral, written, and diagnostic form instructions, and read a map.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and balance 125 pounds (250 pounds with assistance).
• Must be able to calculate weight and volume ratios.

Aufgaben

• Provide Basic and Advanced Life Support measures within their scope of practice, and within NYC REMAC Protocols.
• Inspect vehicle and equipment at the beginning of each tour and ensure stock and readiness.
• Remain in contact with Dispatcher and report dispositions and locations.
• Respond to NYC 911 calls in a timely, safe manner and provide patient care to the advanced level.
• Complete all required documentation and restock vehicle for next shift.
