Job summary

Gundersen Health System Ambulance is seeking a dedicated Paramedic to join our emergency response team in Wisconsin. You will respond, treat, and transport patients across rural 911, interfacility transfers, and intercepts, using advanced EMS protocols under medical direction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Must have a paramedic license in Wisconsin to begin employment.
• National Registry of EMTS as a National Paramedic (NRP).
• Valid Wisconsin, Minnesota or Iowa driver's license.
• Current Infant-Adult BLS for Health Care Providers from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Prior work experience in an emergency or pre-hospital setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond, treat, and transport patients in emergency and non-emergency settings.
• Serve as a crew member of an ambulance in Rural 911, paramedic intercepts, and interfacility transfer environments.
• Provide Paramedic-level clinical care to patients under medical direction.
