Job summary

Gundersen Health System is seeking a full-time Paramedic to serve in our Sparta & Tomah ambulance teams, providing critical emergency and non-emergency services across a wide area. This position offers competitive pay, flexible schedules, and extensive professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Paramedic license in Wisconsin to begin employment.
• Valid driver's license in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Iowa.
• Certifications in ICS 100, 200, 700 required within 60 days of hire.
• Experience in an emergency or pre-hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and treat patients in emergency and non-emergency settings.
• Work as a crew member of an ambulance.
• Provide clinical care to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Participate in ride-along training with Field Training Officer.
• Perform transfers for Gundersen Critical Access hospitals.
