Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required upon hire.
• ITLS or PHTLS certifications required upon hire in Nevada.
• Paramedic certification/licensure and maintenance thereafter.
• Valid driver’s license upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital evaluation, treatment, and transport for patients of all ages.
• Operate ambulance and ensure safe, timely transport in various weather conditions.
• Perform vehicle care, inspections, and inventory of narcotics and equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient care reports and logs during shifts.
• Oversee daily shift operations and staff on duty.
• Demonstrate age-specific competencies for patient populations.
• Serve as a lead to EMTs and coordinate with care teams, EMS agencies, and community.
