Job summary

Puckett EMS is seeking a Level I Paramedic to provide patient care in both emergency and non-emergency environments. You will follow Georgia and Tennessee protocols, maintain equipment, and complete patient care reports (PCR) and related documentation.

Requires Paramedic licensure in GA/TN, BLS/ACLS/PHTLS/PALS/EVOC certifications, and a valid driver’s license for residency state. A six-month probation applies; 12-hour and 24-hour shift options are available.

Qualifications

• Requires State of Georgia and/or Tennessee Paramedic License
• BLS/ACLS/PHTLS/PALS certifications required or within specified timeframes
• Must hold Driver’s License for GA/TN state of residency
• Must complete mandatory training and adhere to medical director protocols

Responsibilities

• Respond to all EMS calls dispatched from the Puckett EMS communications center.
• Provide care and treatment per company policy and medical director protocols.
• Ensure ambulance and equipment are cleaned and checked daily; report deficiencies.
• Prepare and complete reports including PCR, billing, and incident reports.
• Maintain readiness, professionalism, and adherence to policies and standards.
