Puckett EMS in Austell, GA is seeking a Paramedic to deliver patient care in both emergency and non‑emergency settings, while ensuring compliance with Georgia EMS rules and the company’s protocols.

A GA Paramedic license, BLS, ACLS, PHTLS (within 6 months), EVOC, and a current GA driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• GA Paramedic License and BLS/ACLS.
• PHTLS/EVOC within probation period.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all calls from EMS center as directed.
• Provide care per company policy and medical director protocols.
• Ensure ambulance and equipment are cleaned and checked daily.
• Complete PCRs, billing, exposure and incident reports.
• Ensure crew adheres to policies and report deficiencies.
• Ensure vehicle in-service complies with GA rules and licenses.
• Attend mandatory training and meetings.
• Maintain readiness and professionalism on duty.
• Maintain a professional appearance in uniform.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision; perform other duties.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

State of Georgia Paramedic License

Basic Life Support Certification

ACLS certification

PHTLS or equivalent certification (within 6 months of hire date)

EVOC or equivalent certification

Current State of Georgia Driver's License
