Job summary

Global Medical Response in Yakima, WA is seeking Paramedics for part-time or full-time roles to deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care on EMS calls. You will lead scenes, operate medical equipment, and coordinate with public safety teams to provide advanced medical interventions.

Requirements include WA Paramedic License or NREMT-P, ACLS and PALS, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. Physical agility testing and healthcare experience are also required.

Qualifications

  • Must have proper certifications, as stated in the posting.
  • WA State Paramedic License or NREMT-P required.
  • State Driver’s License required.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications required.
  • Driving record must comply with company policy.
  • Pass Physical Agility Test required.
  • Some healthcare work experience preferred.

  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.

Paramedic

Part-Time/Full-Time

We’rehiring Paramedics that are passionate about deliveringcompassionate,high-quality service and basic, as well as advanced,patient careto our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Assess each call situation to determinethebest course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
  • Communicate with patientsand loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as you r fellow Paramedics.
Other Responsibilities
  • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
Minimum Required Qualifications

(Must have proper certifications)

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • WA State Paramedic License or NREMT-P
  • State Driver’s License
  • ACLS, PALS
  • Driving record in compliance with companypolicy
  • PassPhysical Agility Test
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare

Pay Range:

$80,327.94 - $99,204.62/yr DOE

(Based on a Full Time, Non-Exempt position working normal schedule)
