Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Paramedic Basic on a full-time basis in Washington. The pay range is $84,022.41 to $116,634.88 per year, with scheduling that includes 12-hour shifts and a 42-hour average weekly workload.

The position requires WA Paramedic licensure, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic, and a valid WA driver’s license. You will lead on scene, drive an ambulance, and collaborate with health and safety personnel. Generous benefits are included.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • WA State Paramedic License.
  • WA State Driver's License.
  • BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
  • Driving record in compliance with company policy.
  • Pass Physical Agility Test.
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Assess each call situation and determine best actions.
  • Use Paramedic equipment and procedures to provide advanced care.
  • Communicate with patients and families for information and reassurance.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Collaborate with allied health and safety personnel.
  • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relationships.

IMMEDIATE HIRING! Paramedic Opportunity

Paramedic Basic

Full-time

Pay Range: $84,022.41 - $116,634.88/yr

We're hiring Paramedics that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and basic, as well as advanced, patient care to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
  • Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • WA State Paramedic License
  • WA State Driver's License
  • BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
  • Driving record in compliance with company policy
  • Pass Physical Agility Test
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
