Job summary

Novant Health in Wilmington, NC seeks a Paramedic to join the healthcare team, building authentic patient relationships and collaborating with others to promote optimal health. The paramedic follows evidence-based protocols and drives emergency care as part of a physician-led team.

The role requires NC Paramedic certification (or eligibility), BCLS, ACLS, PALS, ITLS or PHTLS within 90 days, a valid driver’s license, and EVO for emergency driving.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.

• Experience: Prefer at least one-year experience with a paid EMS provider at the Paramedic level.

• Licensure/Certification:North Carolina Paramedic certification (or eligible for reciprocity). BCLS, ACLS, PALS required. ITLS or PHTLS required within 90 days of hire. Current and valid driver's license and must the meet requirements of the Medical Center’s Insurance carrier. Must meet general hospital driving requirements. EVO is required to drive during emergency situations.
