Job summary

AMR in Wichita, Kansas is hiring Paramedics to deliver advanced patient care on 911 responses. The role offers part-time or full-time schedules with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Kansas Paramedic certification or eligibility.
• BLS and ACLS provided if not already certified.
• PALS and NALS required within 6 months of hire.
• Pass Physical Agility Test (PAT).

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action using Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequiredQualifications:

• Driving record compliant with company policy
• BLS and ACLS (EagleMed/AMR will provide if not already certified)
