Job summary

American Medical Response in Wichita, KS is seeking Paramedics for part-time or full-time roles, offering a compensation range of $52,990.00–$62,500.00 per year depending on experience. The position requires Kansas paramedic certification or eligibility and a high school diploma/GED.

You will work with advanced patient care, drive an ambulance on 911 responses and lead scenes when needed, while maintaining professional collaboration with public safety teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Pass Physical Agility Test (PAT).
• Kansas Paramedic certification or eligible.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• BLS and ACLS, provided if not already certified.
• PALS and NALS required within 6 months of hire, provided if not already certified.

• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
