Position Overview

CORE is a nationwide occupational medicine platform that serves multiple Fortune 500 companies and other industry leaders. We are looking for an experienced Paramedic for a temporary position in the Waynesboro, GA area.

Position Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies efficiently and promptly.
• Administer basic first aid and medical support to patients in accordance with federal, state, local, and company policy and regulations.
• Assess the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures.
• Communicate effectively with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action.
• Communicate with client and site personnel regarding worksite incidents, hazards, etc.
• Demonstrate a strong orientation toward teamwork and the ability to understand the importance of coordinated efforts.
• Maintain awareness of constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards.
• Practice quality clinical standards at all times.
• Document all findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
• Conduct oneself in a helpful, dignified, and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances.
• Assist Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining a safe and secure work environment.

Position Qualifications

• Paramedic (EMT-P) State Certification and/or National Registry; proof of reciprocity required.
• Previous EMT/Paramedic experience, 1st response experience, or emergency 911 experience preferred.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; additional certifications are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and employees.
