Job summary

CORE is a recognized leader in occupational medicine in Sterling, VA. We seek experienced Paramedics (EMT-P) to join our team on a PRN basis. You will provide emergency response, basic medical care, and on-site health support as part of a nationwide platform.

Applicants must hold EMT-P certification (state or NREMT) with reciprocity, and current First Aid/CPR/AED. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with a focus on maintaining clinical standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Paramedic (EMT-P) state certification and/or National Registry with reciprocity.
• Experience as EMT/Paramedic, 1st response or emergency 911 preferred.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; additional certifications are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients and employees.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies efficiently and promptly.
• Administer basic first aid and medical support per policy and regulations.
• Assess injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures.
• Communicate with medical professionals and treatment facilities for further action.
• Coordinate with client and site personnel regarding incidents and hazards.
• Support Site Safety Managers to maintain a safe work environment.
• Document findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
• Maintain professional conduct under stress and changing site conditions.

We are looking for experienced Paramedicsto join our team inthe Sterling, VA, area. This is a PRN position.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly
• Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations
• Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
• Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action
• Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any worksite incidents, hazards, etc.
• Demonstrating a strong orientation towards team work and the ability to understand the importance of team coordinated efforts
• Demonstrating a strong ability to be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards
• Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times
• Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and concisely
• Conducting oneself in a helpful, dignified and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances
• Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the most safe and secure work environment possible

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Paramedic (EMT-P) State Certification and/or National Registry; must provide proof of reciprocity
• Previous EMT/Paramedic experience, 1st response experience or emergency 911 experience preferred
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; any additional certifications are a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees
