Job summary

CORE Occupational Medicine is seeking experienced Paramedics for the Shippingport, PA area. Full-time and PRN positions available with premium pay for OT hours and per diem.

The role includes delivering on-site emergency medical support, first aid, and coordination with clinicians to ensure safe, compliant work environments. Qualifications

• Paramedic (EMT-P) State Certification and/or National Registry; reciprocity proof required.
• Previous EMT/Paramedic or 911 emergency response experience preferred.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; additional certifications are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills for client and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies efficiently and promptly.
• Administer basic first aid and medical support per policy and regulations.
• Assess injuries/illnesses to prioritize care.
• Communicate with medical professionals and facilities for further actions.
• Communicate with client and site personnel about incidents and hazards.
• Demonstrate teamwork and coordination in a dynamic worksite.
• Remain cognizant of changing site hazards and conditions.
• Maintain quality and clinical standards at all times.
• Document findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
• Conduct oneself professionally under stress.

Position Responsibilities

• Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly
• Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations
• Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
• Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action
• Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any worksite incidents, hazards, etc.
• Demonstrating a strong orientation towards teamwork and the ability to understand the importance of team coordinated efforts
• Demonstrating a strong ability to be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards
• Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times
• Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and concisely
• Conducting oneself in a helpful, dignified and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances
• Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the most safe and secure work environment possible

Position Qualifications

• Paramedic (EMT-P) State Certification and/or National Registry; must provide proof of reciprocity
• Previous EMT/Paramedic experience, 1st response experience or emergency 911 experience preferred
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; any additional certifications are a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees
