Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics for a full-time opportunity in Billings, MT with a $15K sign-on bonus and a two-year commitment to deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency medical care.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, use of defibrillators, EKG monitoring, IV therapy, and driving the ambulance on 911 responses while coordinating with public safety personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Driving record must be compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test required.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best action using Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scenes and units as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.

Minimum Required

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• Some work experience, preferably healthcare
