Job summary

AMR in Billings is hiring paramedics for a full-time role delivering advanced patient care on 911 responses. You will assess each situation, follow progressive paramedic protocols, and take a leadership role at the scene to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements include a state paramedic license, valid driver's license, BLS, ACLS and NREMT-Paramedic certification, plus a pass of the agility test. A $15K sign-on bonus accompanies a two-year commitment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Paramedic license and national certifications (BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic) are required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and determine best action using paramedic protocols.
• Utilize medical equipment to provide advanced care on scene.
• Communicate with patients and families to reassure about care.
• Lead the team on scene and manage unit operations as needed.
• Drive ambulance for 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and safety personnel and fellow medics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determinethebest course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patientsand loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as yourfellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Minimum Required

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• Some work experience, preferably healthcare
