Qualifications

  • Current applicable state(s) license as a Paramedic required.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • PIFT Certification required within six months of start date.
  • One year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver advanced life support (ALS) care in accordance with Maine EMS Paramedic scope of practice
  • Perform assessments, critical interventions, and safe patient transport
  • Collaborate with AEMTs, EMTs, nurses, physicians, and hospital teams

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  1. Education: Completion of Paramedic Course required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Paramedic required. Valid Driver’s License required. Current BLS certification required. PIFT Certification required within six months of start date. Locations in New Hampshire require a NH Paramedic License with a National Registry Paramedic License.
  3. Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred.
