Job summary

North East Mobile Health in Maine is seeking a Paramedic to provide basic and advanced life support during pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care.

You will assess patients, administer medications, and transport them safely, coordinating with nurses, doctors, and hospital staff to ensure a unified response to medical emergencies.

• Collaborate with other nurses, doctors, and hospital staff to coordinate care.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate records of treatments provided during transports.

About this position

About the Role:

As a Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing basic and advanced life support during pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care to patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assess patients' conditions, administer appropriate treatments, and transport them safely to medical facilities. You will work closely with nurses, doctors, and other medical staff to ensure a coordinated response to medical emergencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current state certification as a Paramedic.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Current BLS, ACLS

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a pre-hospital emergency medical setting.
• Additional certifications such as IC S100, IC S700, and Mandated Reporter.
• Advanced certifications in areas such as PALS, or PHTLS.
• AVOC/EVOC - within 6 months of start date.
• PIFT (Paramedic Interfacility Transfer) Certification - will obtain upon hire.
