Qualifications

Summary

MaineHealth Corporate – Emergency Medical Services, Northport, ME Base. Part‑Time | 16‑Hour Shifts (3P - 7A) and 24‑Hour Shifts (7A – 7A). Professional – Clinical. Req #: 76105.

The Paramedic role provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre‑hospital and inter‑facility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient's injury or illness in accordance with state and local protocols.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Completion of Paramedic Course required.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Paramedic required. Valid Driver's License required. Current BLS certification required. PIFT Certification required within six months of start date. Locations in New Hampshire require a NH Paramedic License with a National Registry Paramedic License.
• Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred.
