Job summary

Piedmont Medical Network is seeking a Paramedic in Rock Hill, SC to administer basic and advanced life support and stabilize patients at the scene and during transport. You'll work within a dedicated EMS team delivering top-quality care.

This role requires SC Paramedic certification, Nationally Registered Paramedic within one year, BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, NIMS IC, and a valid driver’s license. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensure: South Carolina Paramedic certification required.
• Nationally Registered Paramedic within 1 year of employment.
• BLS within 7 days of hire.
• ACLS within orientation period.
• PALS or PEPP within orientation period.
• NIMS compliant with IC/IMS within orientation period.
• 100, 200, 700, 800 within orientation period.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Preferred AA degree; 2+ years EMS experience.

• Deliver EMS care at basic or advanced life support level per protocols.
• Maintain safety and professionalism while delivering care and service.
• Perform daily operations, multitask, document, and drive EMS vehicles.
• Apply quality review and feedback processes as part of performance.

Job Summary

The Paramedic is an essential position accountable for administering basic and advanced life support and stabilization procedures to patients at the accident or illness scene, and during transport to medical facilities. It is the expectation that the Paramedic will exemplify the highest professional standards and continuously fosters an enriching, supportive and dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• This position involves delivering the highest quality of emergency medical care at the basic or advanced life support level, in accordance with department protocols and policies as well as York County requirements to optimize EMS response throughout the community.


• The position always maintains safety, optimizes clinical care and deliveries exceptional professionalism and customer service to everyone.


• This position performs routine duties in connection with daily operations necessitating detailed multi-tasking, timely documentation and driving specially equipped emergency vehicles that will require a high level of competence utilizing a wide variety of technology and software.


• This duty involves the ability to understand and apply the principles of prospective, concurrent, and retrospective quality review and feedback.


• Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  
  
  • Licensure/Certification: South Carolina Paramedic certification required
    
    
    
    • Nationally Registered Paramedic certification within one year of employment
    
    
    • AHA BLS required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire
