Job summary

AMR is seeking Paramedics in Owensboro, KY, for full-time or part-time roles. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour and higher with experience. You will deliver advanced patient care using paramedic protocols and emergency equipment, lead on-scene operations, and respond to 911 calls with a professional team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State Paramedic License is required.
• State Driver’s License is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS and NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Driving record must meet company policy.
• Pass a Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best action per paramedic protocols.
• Use defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids to provide care.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families about the care being given.
• Serve as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to enhance AMR image and relations.

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Paramedic FULL or Part-TIME Opportunity

Starting at $22.00 per hour (more depending on experience)!

We’re hiring Paramedics that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.

• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.

• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.

• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.

• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.

• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• State Paramedic License

• State Driver’s License

• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic

• Driving record compliant with company policy

• Pass Physical Agility Test

• Some work experience, preferably healthcare
