Job summary

Cardiovascular Center of Florida in Orlando, FL, seeks an experienced Paramedic to support outpatient cardiovascular diagnostics and stress testing. This full-time role is a 4x10 schedule across Orlando and Clermont, focusing on patient care, cardiac diagnostics, and testing.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida Paramedic certification, ACLS/BLS, strong EKG and IV skills, and 1–2 years of paramedic experience; cardiology or critical care exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Paramedic program.
• Current Florida Paramedic certification.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Strong EKG interpretation skills.
• Strong IV skills.
• Experience with IV therapy and cardiac monitoring.
• Experience in Cardiology, Critical Care or ICU preferred.
• 1–2 years of paramedic experience preferred.
• Telemetry, ER, cath lab, or stress testing experience preferred.

• Assist with exercise and pharmacologic cardiac stress testing procedures.
• Monitor patients during cardiovascular diagnostic testing.
• Perform vital signs, cardiac monitoring, IV access, and 12-lead EKG placement.
• Recognize and communicate abnormal patient responses or rhythm changes.
• Support physicians and clinical staff during cardiovascular procedures.
• Educate patients regarding testing and procedural expectations.
• Accurately document patient information within the EMR system.
• Maintain patient safety and clinical quality standards.

Paramedic - Cardiology

Full-Time - 40 Hour | Week (4x10's) | Orlando, Florida & Clermont, Florida

The Cardiovascular Center of Florida is seeking an experienced Paramedic to support our outpatient cardiovascular diagnostics and stress testing team.

This role is ideal for a clinically strong paramedic looking to transition into a specialized outpatient cardiology environment focused on patient care, cardiac diagnostics, and cardiovascular testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exercise and pharmacologic cardiac stress testing procedures
• Monitor patients during cardiovascular diagnostic testing
• Perform vital signs, cardiac monitoring, IV access, and 12-lead EKG placement
• Recognize and communicate abnormal patient responses or rhythm changes
• Support physicians and clinical staff during cardiovascular procedures
• Educate patients regarding testing and procedural expectations
