Job summary

LifeLine Ambulance, Inc. is seeking a Paramedic for our Primary 911 Response System in Washington. This full-time role offers opportunities to apply advanced EMS skills in a multi-location rural setting with a balanced work schedule.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 lbs.
  • Active Washington State EMT-Paramedic Certification with DOH or completed Paramedic Training and awaiting agency affiliation
  • Current AHA healthcare provider CPR, ACLS, PALS
  • Maintain/Possess current Washington State driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and company information.
  • Reports observations and emergency medical care verbally and in writing to the receiving facility staff.
  • Assume responsibility for EMS scene in absence of higher staff and provide ALS patient care and transport.

Education

High school graduate or GED
EMT-Paramedic experience preferred but not required
Ability to interpret local ALS protocols, company policies and procedures

Located in the heart of Wenatchee Valley, Okanogan Valley and Grant County, sits LifeLine Ambulance-one of Washington State’s only remaining Primary 911 Response Companies.

To the right Paramedic, LifeLine Ambulance is offering a Full-Time position in our Primary 911 Response System. Here, you will be able to practice and challenge your skills as a Paramedic.

In each of our locations our employees will be offered many opportunities for outdoor recreational activities during all seasons due to a schedule that allows for optimal work-life balance. Some of these activities include rock climbing, biking, and hiking as well as paddle boarding, kayaking, skiing, and snowboarding. Our employees enjoy a generous two days on six days off working schedule, in addition to flexible scheduling and a mix of Primary 911 calls between multiple locations. While at work, our employees are provided with state-of-the-art medical equipment and first-class stations.

PARAMEDIC- Job Description
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and company information.
  • Reports verbally and in writing/electronically, their observation and emergency medical care of the patient at the emergency scene and in transit, to the receiving medical facility staff for purposes of records and diagnostics.
  • Assume responsibility for EMS scene in the absence of higher level staff, provide direction and supervision to other employees at an emergency medical scene; provides and directs advance life support patient care and transport.
Requirements

  • Ability to pass Washington State drivers check.
  • Operate and maintain emergency medical apparatus and equipment.
Education/Experience

Licenses/Certifications

Physical Requirements

Job entails interrupted sleep, walking, sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and twisting/turning, manual dexterity, frequent lifting, use of keyboard and hand/eye coordination. Job also requires normal hearing, vision and speaking abilities.
