Job summary

Ottumwa Regional Health Center is seeking a Paramedic for a part-time night shift (3x12, 7p-7a) with rotating weekends. This role emphasizes patient care, adherence to protocol, and strong communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications include an associate degree (preferred), EMT-P license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS or PEPP within required timelines. Experience as FR/EMT/Paramedic is preferred; benefits are available.

What we're looking for

EDUCATION:

• Associate's degree Preferred; Graduate of a Program in Discipline; validated by current state licensure

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience (paid or volunteer) as a FR, EMT, or Paramedic preferred.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE :

• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-P)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) within 6 months of hire date
