AMR is hiring Paramedics for a 911 position in Colorado, with a 48/96 shift and starting salary of $57,408 per year with credit for experience. Responsibilities include assessing calls, delivering advanced care with defibrillator, EKG monitoring, IV fluids, and coordinating scene and unit management with the Fire Department.

Required: Colorado Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic, valid Driver's License; driving record compliance and agility test are expected; excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Must hold Colorado Paramedic License and relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic).
• Valid driver's license and a compliant driving record are required.
• Ability to pass Physical Agility Test is required.

• Communicate with patients and families to provide care information and reassurance.

We're hiring

Paramedics

who are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care to our customers.

This is a 911 position that works directly with the Fire Department.

This position works the 48/96 shift.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Colorado Paramedic License
• Valid State Driver's License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare

Hourly Range:

$17.24 - $27.58
