Job summary

AMR in Colorado is hiring Paramedics to deliver advanced patient care in a 911 setting, working directly with the Fire Department. The position follows a 48/96 shift schedule and offers starting pay of $57,408 per year with experience credit.

Responsibilities include on-call leadership at scenes, operating defibrillators and monitors, driving the ambulance on 911 responses, and collaborating with public safety and healthcare teams to provide compassionate, high-quality service to our communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Colorado Paramedic License.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
• Valid State Driver's License.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine action with Paramedic protocols.
• Use paramedic skills with defibrillator, monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.

We're hiring

Paramedics

who are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care to our customers.

This is a 911 position that works directly with the Fire Department.

This position works the 48/96 shift.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Colorado Paramedic License
• Valid State Driver's License

• Some work experience, preferably healthcare

Hourly Range:

$17.24 - $27.58
