Job summary

American Medical Response seeks a Paramedic to deliver advanced patient care on 911 responses and oversee scene and unit management. You will operate defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and IV fluids, while communicating with patients and families.

The position is full-time and requires Kansas Paramedic certification, BLS/ACLS on hire, and a valid driver’s license. Experience in healthcare is preferred, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and community relations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Kansas Paramedic certification or eligible for Kansas certification.
  • State Driver's License.
  • BLS and ACLS required upon hire. PALS preferred.
  • Driving record compliant with company policy.
  • Pass Physical Agility Test.
  • Some work experience, preferably healthcare.

  • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
