The Paramedic at Medical City Lewisville provides direct patient care within the Texas Paramedic/EMT scope, delivering compassionate, safe care and supporting hospital goals. You will participate in performance improvement activities and ensure quality patient outcomes.
Requirements include ACLS, BLS, PALS within 30 days, and crisis intervention or Paramedic certification within a year. No travel required, full-time position with benefits.

The Paramedic performs direct patient care within the scope of the Texas Paramedic/EMT Practice Act, and utilizes therapeutic communication in daily practice. The Paramedic also maintains a safe and therapeutic environment, and identifies nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient. He/she participates in performance improvement activities to assure continuous quality improvement, and provides care and coordinates participation that fosters the goals of the hospital’s mission statement.
