Job summary

Prime Healthcare is looking for a full-time Emergency Medical Technician at Saint Clare's Health in Lake Arrowhead, NJ. Ideal candidates will possess current New Jersey Paramedic certification, BLS CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications. The EMT will provide high-quality life support and patient transport while working in a collaborative healthcare team environment. Competitive pay ranges from $32.00 to $39.00 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical and retirement plans.

Responsibilities

The Emergency Medical Technician renders basic life support of the highest quality, compassion, and dignity, while providing patients transportation in the pre‑hospital and inter‑facility settings. Functions as a member of the health care team in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures. Provides care to patients ranging in age from neonatal through geriatric.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Department of Health Paramedic certification
• Current and valid Healthcare Provider – BLS CPR card
• Current and valid AHA ACLS card
• Current and valid AHA PALS card
• Valid Driver’s License
• CEVO certification – must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in a 3‑year period
• Previous experience as a Paramedic preferred
• Good driving record
