Job summary

Saint Clare's Health is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic to join its award‑winning team. Responsibilities include providing high‑quality basic life support and patient transport in both pre‑hospital and inter‑facility settings, while adhering to hospital policies and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Qualifications include NJ Paramedic certification, BLS CPR, ACLS and PALS, a valid driver’s license, and CEVO certification within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

  • NJ Paramedic certification required.
  • Healthcare Provider – BLS CPR card required.
  • ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
  • PALS certification (American Heart Association) required.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • CEVO certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire and renewed every 3 years.
  • Previous paramedic experience preferred.
  • Good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Render basic life support of the highest quality during patient transport in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.
  • Function as a member of the health care team in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Provide care to patients ranging in age from neonatal through geriatric.

Responsibilities

The Emergency Medical Technician renders basic life support of the highest quality, compassion and dignity, while providing patients transportation in the pre‑hospital and inter‑facility settings. Functions as a member of the health care team in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures. Provides care to patients ranging in age from neonatal through geriatric.

Qualifications
  • Current and valid New Jersey Department of Health Paramedic certification
  • Current and valid Healthcare Provider – BLS CPR card
  • Current and valid AHA ACLS card
  • Current and valid AHA PALS card
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • CEVO certification – must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period
  • Previous experience as a Paramedic preferred
  • Good driving record

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $32.00 to $39.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
