City Ambulance Service in Houston, Texas is hiring experienced Paramedics for a full-time rotating schedule. Pay starts at $77,096 per year and goes up to $93,856, with Paramedics earning $105,248–$128,128 by working 72 hours weekly. Schedules include 48/96, 24/48, or Kelly.

We operate across multiple Texas locations and are expanding our team. Candidates must hold Texas Paramedic license and have EMS experience; MICU transport skills, IV pumps, ventilators, and cardiac monitoring are valued.

Qualifications

• Texas Paramedic license required.
• 2 Years EMS experience preferred.
• Experience with MICU transports including IV Pump / Ventilator / Cardiac Monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Respond to calls for emergency and non-emergency transports.
• Assess a patient’s condition and determine a course of treatment per local protocol.
• Provide first-aid treatment and/or advanced life support to patients.
• Clearly explain procedures to patients, give orders, and relay information to others.
• Transport patients safely in an ambulance.
• Transfer patients to the hospital or other healthcare facilities.
• Report their observations and treatment to physicians, or other healthcare facility staff.
• Document medical care given to patients in a prompt and effective manner.
• Inventory, replace, and clean supplies and equipment after use.
• Maintain and clean crew quarters, ambulance and station locations daily.

Pay starting at $77,096/yr up to $93,856/yr (depending on experience) working a full-time rotating schedule.
Paramedics can make between $105,248-$128,128/year (depending on experience) by working 72 hours/week.
No Cap on Overtime.
Schedule Types Available: 48 ON/96 OFF or 24 ON/48 OFF or Kelly schedule. Schedules vary by location and are subject to change.
City Ambulance Service is rapidly expanding our operation, we have multiple station locations in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, College Station, Odessa, Midland, San Angelo, Lubbock, Temple, Killeen, Round Rock, Beaumont, Port Arthur, Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Livingston, Corpus Christi, etc. We are currently looking to expand our team of Paramedics here in Houston, Texas and Surrounding areas. We are currently seeking experienced, dedicated and motivated Paramedics to join our team. We are looking for team members that can provide the advanced level of patient care that our patients and partners have come to expect from City Ambulance Service.
Duties And Responsibilities:

• Respond to calls for emergency and non-emergency transports.

Qualifications:

• Ability to sit, bend and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from ground to waist level.
• Ability to coordinate activities closely with others in stressful situations.
• Ability to effectively communicate Verbal / Written English.
• Ability to take direction and adapt to changing situations/job duties.
• Experience with MICU level transports including IV Pump / Ventilator / Cardiac Monitoring.
• State of Texas (or other compact state) Paramedic license REQUIRED.
• 2 Years experience in Emergency Medical Services preferred.
