Job summary

City Ambulance Service is seeking experienced Paramedics for immediate placement in the West, Texas Region. The role includes responding to emergency and non-emergency transports, assessing patient needs, and providing advanced life support as required.

You will work on 24-hour shifts with a 7 days on/7 days off schedule. Offer includes lucrative weekly pay with overtime, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement as the company expands its statewide coverage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years EMS experience preferred.
• MICU level transports experience with IV pump/ventilator/cardiac monitoring.
• Valid State of Texas Paramedic license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency transport calls.
• Assess patient condition and determine treatment per local protocol.
• Provide first-aid or advanced life support as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients and relay information to team.
• Transport patients safely in an ambulance and transfer to facilities.
• Document care and maintain equipment and station readiness.

Pay: $137,800.00 - $143,000.00 per year

Job description:

• Schedule: 7 Days ON/ 7 Days OFF.
• Pay ranges between $5,300-$5,500/per week depending on experience.
• No cap on overtime - 24 hour shifts - Can pick up shifts on your week off.

City Ambulance Service is rapidly expanding our operation, we have multiple station locations in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, College Station, Odessa, Midland, Temple, Killeen, San Angelo, Lubbock, Round Rock, Beaumont, Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Livingston, Corpus Christi, etc. We are currently looking to expand our team of Paramedics here in our West, Texas Region. we are seeking experienced, dedicated and motivated Paramedics to join our team. We are looking for team members that can provide the advanced level of patient care that our patients and partners have come to expect from City Ambulance Service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond to calls for emergency and non-emergency transports.
• Assess a patient’s condition and determine a course of treatment per local protocol.
• Provide first-aid treatment and/or advanced level life support to patients.
• Clearly explain procedures to patients, give orders, and relay information to others.
• Transport patients safely in an ambulance.
• Transfer patients to the hospital or other healthcare facilities.
• Report their observations and treatment to physicians, or other healthcare facility staff.
• Document medical care given to patients in a prompt and effective manner.
• Inventory, replace, and clean supplies and equipment after use.
• Maintain and clean crew quarters, ambulance and station locations daily.

Qualifications:

• Ability to sit, bend and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from ground to waist level.
• Ability to coordinate activities closely with others in stressful situations.
• Ability to effectively communicate Verbal / Written English.
• Ability to take direction and adapt to changing situations/job duties.
• Experience with MICU level transports including IV Pump / Ventilator / Cardiac Monitoring.
• Valid State of Texas Paramedic license Required.
• 2 Years experience in Emergency Medical Services preferred.

Expected Earnings by Committing to a 7 Days on/7 Days off Schedule:

• $5,300-$5,500/per week.
• No cap on overtime.
• Weekly pay is broken down by an hourly and overtime rate.
