Job summary

AMR is immediately hiring a Paramedic for a full-time role in Kentucky. Hourly rates start at $21.50 plus DOE. You will deliver basic and advanced patient care, lead on-scene operations, and drive ambulances on 911 responses as part of a professional team.

Qualifications include State Paramedic License, State Driver’s License, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic, and a valid driving record with agility testing. Healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• Pass Physical Agility Test required.
• Driving record compliant with policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action using progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction) and IV fluids for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead the Paramedic team on scene and manage the unit when needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:
