Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics in Washington state for part-time or full-time roles. The position emphasizes delivering compassionate, high-quality care and working with advanced medical procedures on medical equipment such as defibrillators and EKG monitors.

Responsibilities include leading the on-scene response, driving the ambulance, and coordinating with healthcare and public safety teams to ensure patient safety and effective care during 911 responses.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • WA State Paramedic License or NREMT-P.
  • State Driver’s License.
  • ACLS, PALS.
  • Driving record in compliance with company policy.
  • Pass Physical Agility Test.
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while following Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and IV fluids.
  • Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.

$80,327.94 - $99,204.62/yr DOE(Based on a Full Time, Non-Exempt position working normal schedule)
