Job summary

AMR in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Paramedic to join our full-time team delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care on 12-hour shifts.

You will assess calls, provide advanced medical care with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, IV therapy, and lead scene management while coordinating with public safety teams and fellow paramedics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver's License required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Ability to pass Physical Agility Test.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine best action with Paramedic protocols.
• Lead scene and unit management when needed.
• Drive ambulance on 911 responses.
• Use medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction) to provide advanced care.
• Collaborate with allied health and safety personnel and community partners.

Responsibilities:

Assess each call situation to determinethebest course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.Communicate with patientsand loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as you r fellow Paramedics.Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
