Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging is seeking a full-time Paramedic to sit onsite at our Oaktree Plaza location in Denton, TX, to facilitate contrast injections and monitor patients.

The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with premium base pay, mileage reimbursement, a competitive shift differential, monthly bonus opportunities, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• Previous experience as EMT or Paramedic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide contrast injections and monitor patients onsite following radiology protocols.
• Complete MRI safety screening and required documentation prior to coverage.
• Alert radiologist via Teams during adverse events and ensure 911 is called when necessary.

Touchstone Medical Imaging is seeking a full-time Paramedic to sit onsite to facilitate contrast injections at our Oaktree Plaza location in Denton, TX.

This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)

Job Summary:

If confronted with an adverse event (contrast reaction, infiltration or situation that requires the radiologist), the Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic should immediately use the Teams audio/video functionality to alert the supervising radiologist. The radiologist will assist with assessment of the patient and provide appropriate treatment instruction, including any medication administration. It is also the responsibility of the on-site contractor to ensure 911 has been called when necessary.

Items listed must be complete prior to onsite coverage.

• Provides documentation of Certificate of Liability Insurance and current medical license
• Completes MRI Safety Screening form
• Review of Emergency Response and MRI Safety training

Requirements:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Previous experience as a certified EMT or Paramedic
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
