Lawyers for Justice, P.C.® is expanding into Seattle, Washington, and seeking a highly qualified Paralegal to join their team. This full-time position involves meeting with clients, drafting legal documents, and assisting with trial preparation. Candidates should have a paralegal certificate and at least 5 years of experience in the field.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.
• Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases.
• Draft legal documents and file according to judicial procedures.
• Research and analyze legal sources, providing written analysis.
• Interview clients and witnesses; prepare summaries of statements.
• Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation.
• Develop and maintain records regarding billable hours.
• Organize documents in a computerized database.
• Prepare discovery requests and responses.
• Assist in organizing and carrying out special projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
