GrayRobinson, a full-service law and government-consulting firm with 16 offices in Florida and Washington, D.C., has an immediate opening in our Naples office for a full-time experienced Trusts and Estates Administration Paralegal. The preferred candidate will be a Florida Registered Paralegal or demonstrate eligibility for registration.
The position requires 5+ years of estate and trust settlement and administration experience, particularly handling probate and trust administrations for high-net-worth clients. Responsibilities include managing deadlines, collecting asset information, handling client and third-party correspondence, and drafting related pleadings and documents. Experience with Florida estate administrations and preparing estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns is preferred. Candidates with experience in federal estate tax returns for estates and irrevocable trusts in other jurisdictions are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, capable of managing multiple matters and time-sensitive projects, and able to plan for deadlines and potential issues. Prior experience assisting with wills, trusts (revocable and irrevocable), and estate planning documents for high-net-worth clients is preferred. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with GEMS, ProSystems, or similar estate tax and fiduciary accounting software, is desired.
