Job summary

Hook Alliance seeks an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal to support estate and trust administration in a respected New Jersey law firm.

Responsibilities include preparing Form 706, Form 1041, and NJ inheritance tax returns, dealing with accountings, probate filings, and trust funding. The role requires 3+ years of Trusts & Estates paralegal experience and familiarity with NJ procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of law firm experience in Trusts & Estates; 5+ years preferred.
• Hands-on experience preparing Forms 706, 1041, and New Jersey inheritance tax returns.
• Experience preparing estate and trust accountings.
• Knowledge of New Jersey probate and Surrogate’s Court procedures.
• Experience with GEMS or similar estate accounting software is a plus.
