Paralegal Specialist - Litigation

Our client, a reputable law firm specializing in property damage and personal injury cases, is seeking an experienced Paralegal in Litigation to join their team. Spanning over 30 sites nationwide, our team of almost 100 expert lawyers strives to deliver exceptional results for our clients, maximizing compensation and recovery. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in litigation processes, with a keen ability to support trial preparations and manage complex legal cases effectively.

Focus:

• Assist in the preparation and management of cases from inception through trial.
• Coordinate the collection, review, and filing of pleadings and other court documents.
• Handle electronic filings (e-filing) with both state and federal courts.
• Maintain and organize documents, including creating timelines and fact summaries.
• Support attorneys in trial preparation and attend trials as needed.

Skill Set:

• Minimum of two years' experience in a litigation environment, particularly in personal injury or property damage.
• Strong background in supporting litigation efforts, including hands-on experience with pre-trial planning and in-court proceedings.
• Proficient with e-filing in state and federal courts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
