The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA), Director's Office, Governor’s Regulatory Review Council (GRRC) is seeking a Paralegal Project Specialist to join our team. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with the General Counsel and other attorneys, providing essential support across a diverse range of legal functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research and writing skills, and be prepared to handle responsibilities that include public records review, appeals to the ADOA Director, and the coordination of on-going legal issues.
This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals seeking varied and impactful work within state government. Due to ADOA's broad responsibilities, the Paralegal Project Specialist will contribute to critical operations that directly influence the effectiveness of state government. The ADOA utilizes the Arizona Management System (AMS), which incorporates Lean principles. This means the successful candidate will be involved in continuously improving processes, managing projects, and problem-solving to plan, prioritize, manage, and measure work related to ADOA's core business functions.
