What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage incoming legal issues, monitor related deadlines, and draft necessary documentation
- Review public records responses and assist the public records team with appeals
- Conduct legal research projects and make decisions regarding complex legal issues
- Maintain files and public records in compliance with the records retention schedule
- Prepare legal memoranda and ensure effective communication of complex legal information

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies, Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies, or a Paralegal Certificate
- Knowledge of Arizona public records laws and understanding of ADOA's authority within state government
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working with a state government agency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to utilize online legal research services and various software applications

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience working with Google applications
- Familiarity with complex areas of law and legal documentation
- Experience in office management principles and maintaining confidentiality of information
