The Legal Support and Operations teams collaborate from our Pawleys Island, SC office to provide seamless support while attorneys work remotely across the United States.

The paralegal role focuses on organizing, coordinating deadlines, and managing documents in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting and filing legal documents.
• Knowledge of court filing procedures.
• Ability to manage calendars and deadlines.
• Experience with electronic filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare legal documents (briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, mortgages, verifications, authorizations).
• Investigate facts and public records to support case strategy.
• File documents with courts and administrative bodies, including electronic filing systems.
• Maintain proactive follow-up on appeals, pleadings, verifications, and agency requests.
• Manage attorney and shared office calendars; provide deadline reminders and tracking.
• Communicate regularly with courts, agencies, clients, and internal teams.
• Create and maintain organized virtual document files with proper indexing and filing protocols.
• Draft legal correspondence and manage administrative tasks.
